The Team

We are in the process of restructuring our leadership. If you want to communicate with the board, you can contact Ann E. Cummings. Anne is a writer, and she organizes our community work. Red umbrella project focuses on sex worker’s rights and advocacy. We provide outreach, meetings, and provide programs for sex workers affected by the criminalization on sex work.

Fernando R. Hartung (Cochair) – is a social worker with over 15 years of experience with community organizations. She is a mother and an educator focusing primarily on sex workers.

Virginia Robinson (Secretary) – She does sex work research and has numerous publications about sex workers. Virginia has a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality.

Ramon McDougal (Treasurer) – A lawyer who provides clients advice about investment funds and private offerings of securities.
